Youth Mentorship Program

1/1
We Take a Cultivated Approach to the Education of Black Youth
Potential is an important word when it comes to mentorship. It is what we are aiming to foster, and it signifies possibility. In 2023 we developed a youth mentorship program in partnership with our affiliates designed to increase post-secondary participation amongst Black youth. Statistics Canada reported that while 94% of Black youth under 25 would like to go to university or college, only 60% thought they could actually achieve this goal. The program sought to expose youth to post-secondary institutions and cultural opportunities, while affirming Black-centric culture.
